Research area & project

Ph.D Topic:

Three are three research directions for my Ph.D. That are soil biodiversity and physical process, the colonization of soil microbe in micro scale, and interaction of PAO1 and its mutants related to motility. It seems that those three directions have no interact, but all focused on the biological process under physical conditions in micro scale. That’s the base for uncovering the interaction mechanism of soil-plant-microbe complex. I will still be focused on those direction for my postdoctoral research.


Research focus:

1Soil biodiversity and soil biophysical process. Researching the mechanism of soil biodiversitynutrient recycle and functional microbe in adjusting the soil-plant-microbe complex.  

2The colonization process of soil microbe in micro scale. The porous media and confocal microscopy were performed to research the colonization and succession of soil microbe through water channel and nutrient attraction.

3Cell motility and interaction of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain PAO1 and its mutants in micropore
